Octavo: 23.5 � 15 cm; pp. 68, [2]. � Condition: Externally, very minor abrasions and marks of usage. Internally, clean and free of marks. � Notes: Moore's novel is printed here for the first time in its own volume. The first edition was printed in 1924 with Daphnis and Chloe. Bruce Rogers stated: "That is a pseudo-medieval romance, so pseudo-medieval trimmings seemed appropriate. The choice of black-letter and civilit� type for the title and chapter heads conveys something of the flavor of the tale, without interfering in any way with the plain legibility of the text". �.
