by Michael Bunker and Steven Donaldson
Hundreds of millions of Christians are being persecuted around the world. The bodies are piled up like cord-wood in places like Rwanda and the Sudan. The Chinese church thrives despite murders, rapes, tortures and imprisonments. In a third of the world, the Christian church is "underground," and still it thrives - but what about America?
Many prominent American Christians are now saying that America is no longer a post-Christian nation. They believe America is now an Anti-Christian nation. If this is true, then the Body of Christ in America now faces the real likelihood of persecution. The Bible is loaded with stories of GOD's judgements on nations, and America is primed for judgement like no other nation in history. How has national judgement been manifest in other nations? How have other "anti-Christian" nations fared? How well is the church in America prepared?
This book is about America and the very real probability of persecution coming to the American Christian church. It examines what "broke" in the man, the family, the church, and the nation - and how we should look in the coming hard times. The Body of Christ flourishes in times of persecution - but it does so because Christ rises up a remnant to glorify HIM in the midst of troubles. This book is about that remnant.
