The Person is one of the books in the three volume series called THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING HUMAN. The several writings in this book are the introspective expressions of the self in the human situation. They reveal the experience of love finding itself within the depths of its own person and in its intimate personal relationship with another.
The writings in the three book series were not originally intended to be published and they express some of the authors thoughts and feelings during that time. The writings express the agonizing experience of divorce, the joy of a new marriage, hard and deep struggles and the accidental death of his 18-year-old son. They reveal the experience of a human being looking to be of service to others while seeking to satisfy his person in its own right.
It is important to note how the material in the books was written. They came to Michael in a completed form, word for word, with no corrections or alterations. They usually took less than thirty minutes to write. Inspired, they were written on napkins, place mats or what ever pieces of paper were on hand in that moment.
The writings in these books should be read thoughtfully and with feeling for that is how they were received. You are invited to read these writings in the chance that you may be able to relate to them and in so doing, be touched by your own spirit.
