Martín Koppel (1956– ) served as a member of the National Committee of the Socialist Workers Party from 1994 to 2010 and as editor of the Spanish-language monthly magazine Perspectiva Mundial and of the Militant. He is the coauthor of Capitalism and the Transformation of Africa: Reports from Equatorial Guinea (2009) and author of Peru’s Shining Path: The Evolution of a Stalinist Sect (1998).
