Comes with archival-quality mylar dust jacket protector. A tight, clean copy. Octavo. Notes: True first book club edition. Gutter code reads “N47” on page 372, denoting the first BCE printing. Smaller trim size than the trade first edition. “Pet Sematary” is Stephen King’s tenth published novel, in which a young family discovers a burial ground that brings the dead back to life, with horrific consequences. King (b. 1947) is one of America’s most prolific and influential horror writers, winner of the National Book Foundation Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters, with numerous film and television adaptations of his work. “Pet Sematary” was nominated for the World Fantasy Award in 1986 and was adapted into films in 1989 and 2019.
