With an introduction by "his cousin" (presumably the title character's cousin) Lady *** ("Madge Plunket") and another introduction by Deems Taylor. Volume wrapped in gold jacket with author's illustration to front panel in green tones. --- In Toledano spine 7 / blue balloon cloth / limp boards / gilt cover torchbearer / gilt spine titling with interconnected "ML" device / blue topstain / orange Kent endpapers / jacket style g, verso lists 265 titles in ML catalog.
