468pp. January - June 1855. Text is unmarked on deeply patinated pages with B&W illustrations. Bound dark brown quarter leather boards with lightly bumped corners and gold gilt design. Much of the cloth is missing and rubbed off on both sides. Front end-papers are not attached and wrinkled. Binding is intact but disconnected from spine; hinges are split open but loosely attached. Still, a legible reading copy.
