A very scarce advertisement booklet for petroleum stoves for the 1913 season. For the 1913 season, with pencil note dated June 18th, 1913. Very scarce work. Illustrated with over sixty images of products available. A charming advertising booklet for petroleum and wickless stoves, with a product range including: blow-lamps, iron heaters, toasters, ovens, radiators for stoves, burners, tanks, kettles, and more. With product codes and pricing information. Produced by J. L. Thomas, an Exeter-based company that sold oil and lamp and tallow, owned by a co-partnership of Francis Radford Thomas and James Langdone Thomas. The company was incorporated in 1908 and was acquired by Lever Brothers in 1918. The original paper booklet. Externally, smart with light wear and the odd small closed tear to the extremities. Minor sunning with the odd small mark. A fold to the centre of the booklet. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Very Good.
