The book on Pharmaceutics: Basic Principles and Formulation was written to provide general knowledge and idea about the formulations. The content of this book was according to the then syllabus of various Universities, in particular Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai for B. Pharm 1st year. Mean while, the Pharmacy Council of India has prepared the syllabus for B. Pharm as well as M. Pharm, which are applicable throughout the country irrespective of Universities or Institutes. Therefore, the book has been revised in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by PCI. The basic feature of this book is that after each chapter about twenty MCQs along with sample questions have been provided. These will help the reader of this book to prepare or appear in the examination.
