Original printed boards with modern black buckram spine. Internally good only, lacking title page (though that information is duplicated on the front board) and the plan of wards on its verso, . [4], 348, 23, [3] pp. Many fine illustrated ads at the back. A very good directory by M'Elroy, who published Philadelphia directories for many years. Though he lived in the city at this time, Edgar Allen Poe is not listed. Spear p. 285.
