Elaborately decorated black stiff wrappers, printed in green and gilt, mounted gold plate, inner plain stiff wrappers, cover trifle creased, old small stamp inside. In a very good condition. ~ Second edition. Undated, printed in England around 1930. Rare, richly illustrated promotional book and trade catalogue for the Philips Metalix-Portable, the first portable x-ray apparatus to be made. Promoted as handy, easy-to-use essential addition to every practice. "If only for the sake of humanity, x-rays should be available in every town, village and hamlet". J-01.
