About the Author

EDWARD CRAIG is Knightbridge Professor of Philosophy at Cambridge University, where he is also a Fellow of Churchill College. In addition to his role as General Editor of the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Craig has authored numerous books on philosophy.
