Phoenix Rising (New Portway Reprints)

The last of the Floods
Aldebaran Flood, last of the great dynasty, has established herself as a successful novelist in the United States for a lecture tour. She determines to track down an elusive secret that has haunted her past, a secret which involves the negro jazz pianist, Lee Marion.
During a stay at a plantation in the deep south, Aldebaran is brought face to face with a scene of violence and horror chillingly like a situation from her own early life - a scene that threatens to show her secrets she does not want to know!
