Phoenix Tears - The Rick Simpson Story

Rick Simpson is a retired power engineer who worked for 25 years in Canada’s medical system. After suffering a severe head injury in 1997 he took all the medications doctors prescribed, but their side effects did nothing but harm. In desperation, he turned to the use of self-produced cannabis extracts and quickly found that he rediscovered one of the greatest natural medicines that can cure and control many different illnesses. The first one relates the story of his life in Canada, his rediscovery and the things he went through in order to make his rediscovery known to all. For more than a decade he has been fighting for the repeal of all laws concerning the regulation of cannabis use with the aim of making it once again freely accessible to all.
