Phoenix of the USO

One of the greatest jazz an R&B performers of the late 1950’s-1990’s went un-noticed. Making a name for herself under the radar. A true hidden gem, until this publishing. She represented a foundational musical era, our up and coming artist would sample for years to come. Her name is Kissie Darnell. Kissie started off singing background, then moved to a solo career and took her talents to sing with the USO for US soldiers. This book is her journey in music story, packed with unwritten accounts and photos of her travel around the world four times, never published, real life encounters, singing and loving on our troops. Providing "Healing for Soldiers Soul" through music.
