Her work with Donna Hay and Real Simple (and other magazines such as Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Inside Out and marie claire lifestyle) celebrates discovering the beauty in the everyday. Vanessa lives in Manhattan with her husband, two children, and boxes and boxes of photographs (still!).
Susie Cushner has honed her skill as a photographer shooting subjects as diverse as food, travel, interiors, lifestyle, beauty, and still life. Her list of clients include Hyatt, Cowtan & Tout, Real Simple Magazine, American Express Publishing, Neehan Paper, Chronicle Books, Conde Nast, Hearst Publishing, and Williams-Sonoma. The essence of her work is deeply personal: she responds spontaneously to any given environment, which inspires her to reveal an intimacy and a connection with the subject. Susie is currently based in Boston and New York.
