About this Item
Gelatin silver photograph of 11 female workers at the Bay State Cotton Corp. Image matted to 8" x 6" in larger contemporary cardboard mount. Image is fine with slight wear at the edges of the mat. A not-overly-enthusiastic group of women are posed underneath the company sign. Around 1900 much of America's textile manufacturing began to migrate to the southern part of the country. An interesting image. Seller Inventory # 550859
