Due to the advantages described above, it is only natural that photonic True Time Delays (TTDs) will find their way into future radar systems. Such Photonic TTDs have superior microwave characteristics over traditional microwave devices as will be extensively demonstrated throughout this research work. About the Author

Oded Raz is an Assistant professor in the Electro-Optics Communications Group in the TU/e, The Netherlands. Aside from his academic experience he has also held several industry positions between the years 2000-2006 with Lucent Technologies, Matisse Networks & Corrignet Systems. Dr. Raz has co-authored more than 120 papers and is member of ECOC TPC.
