Contributors provide instruction on how to create a variety of exciting new effects using the techniques available in Photoshop 6. Each project will be from 3 to 10 pages in length and be designed in a 2-column format with step-by-step instructions on the left and corresponding graphics (or code) on the right. In addition, sidebars will be used to provide additional tips and tricks. Any effect, technique, or tip can easily be customized to fit a reader¿s own design needs.
Rhoda Grossman is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist whose work has appeared in numerous publications on digital art. She combines hi-tech and low tech art and refers to herself as “bi-tech.” Sherry London is a principal of London Computing: PhotoFX, a full-service design studio. Sherry has been designing professionally using computer graphics since the 1980s. Her background includes teaching courses in MIS at Drexel University; teaching Photoshop and prepress at Moore College of Art and Design. She is the author of several books on Photoshop and other computer graphic technologies.
