183 pages including index. No dustjacket, EX LIBRARY copy with stamps/stickers to end-papers, stamps to title-page. Volume has so many loose/FREE pages, with many others indeed the whole binding feeling unstable that it may be viewed as DISBOUND. Family tree sheet behind title page with tears to most folds. All B&W plate-pages are present, most have a wave to margins. Page-edges are rough-cut as of the period. Binding has frays to boards' corners, chipping/frays to spine-ends, and a 4cm split to top rear outer hinge., number to spine. May not be original binding, cannot tell. Needs rebinding.
