Add to basketA petite pre-war London travel guide bound in red cloth titled and decorated in stamped burgundy. Five beautiful folding maps in color and numerous b/w photo inserts throughout interior. Pages are warmly toned but unmarked. Frontis folding map has two lengthy tears from fore edge though remains largely intact. Front hinge partially detached at title page and taped along front endpapers. Rear hinge slightly loosened. Cloth is sunned and soiled in faint spots over both covers. Bit of fraying to ends and corners. Five inch slice through front joint cloth. Brown soiling along bottom edge of text block slightly bleeds to outermost margin of few pages and a map of London- Section 1. Railway Maps of London on page 49 and map of Underground Railways of London are missing. All other maps are present.
