The boards have light, shelf wear soiling and a faint, 3/4 in. stain; 3 corners are bare of paper. Most of the front endpaper is split over the hinge; hinge remains tight. A gift inscription is on the front FEP. DJ: The least damaged area is the illustration on the front panel; the margins have darkened and have soiling from shelf wear and handling; the folds and top and bottom edges have chips and closed tears.
