Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. A nice tidy 6 vol set 1939-1945. A detailed record of the Second World War with each volume covering an individual year. Illustrated with captions, this work contains a wealth of photographs plus some maps and drawings of every theatre of the war, along with precise dates shown at the top of each page. All pages and bindings are in tight order, brown embossed boards (less common than the red boarded version) with gold gilt lettering to spine, no fading, some minor bumping to corner edges. The page top edges of these books were dyed grey on publishing so show no foxing etc. Total weight is 4.9 kilos (*****PLEASE NOTE: Additional shipping will be required to weight, so please enquire prior to purchase.
