Bud Macfarlane, thirty-something, grew up in New Jersey with his nine sisters and one brother. He is the founder and director of CatholiCity and the Mary Foundation (the largest producer of Catholic audio tapes in the U.S.A.). He received a degree in history from the University of Notre Dame in 1984. He is the proud father of Jude, Buddy, and Xavier and lives with his bride Bai in a suburb of Cleveland. He is a founding member of the Catholic Marketing Network. The "MI" after his name stands for Militia of the Immaculata, or Knights of Immaculata, a lay association founded by his hero, Saint Maximilian Kolbe. He is a member of the MI National Board of Directors, has been given the title "Official Promoter of the MI." He plans to write one or two new novels every year for the rest of his life. His father, Bud Sr., is one of the best-known and best-loved speakers on the topic of Marian Apparitions in the U.S.
