Occasional notes to text, previous owner's inscription to front free end paper and longer notes to rear end papers. A couple of jagged edged pages from owner separating uncut pages. Binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has moderate damp and dust stains.
