About the Author

S. A. Mahan lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband. She has written three books, Chrissie's Run, The Baby Sea turtle and now A Pigeon's Tale. She was a finalist in the 2015 Colorado Book Award for The Baby Sea turtle, and a finalist for the 2015 Dante Rossetti Young Adult Fiction Award for Chrissie's Run.
