Motoring atlas from the very early days of travel by automobile, complete with its original clear celluloid and leather folder (rough condition) to protect it from the rigors of unpaved roads and unexpected breakdowns. Full flexible leather covers printed in gilt, showing a driver wearing goggles (possibly due to lack of windscreen), skeleton map key inside front cover, 137 pages. Some very minor chips to outer edges, good hinges, sound text block, pages clean and free from chips, tears or markings. The folder, which originally was closed on three sides and sported a snap closure, is in rough condition with yellowed and worn celluloid, chipped leather, and missing half of the snap closure, and is open on two sides instead of three. A wonderful relic of when automobile travel was an exciting new adventure. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
