About this Item

Paperback, very rare, c. 1940s. A Candlelight Production featuring two surprise flaps and two pop-ups, with charming illustrations by J. Walmsley Heap. Pages are in good condition, with edges showing some wear but no major tears. The front cover has minor tearing along the bottom edge, and the back cover shows small tears along the top and bottom edges. Light tearing is present at the binding, but it remains intact and relatively strong. Pages are bright, and the pop-ups and flaps are in very good condition with minimal wear consistent with the book overall. A rare and delightful find for any collector.
