A first novel, by the film-maker Gus Van Sant. It tells the story of a maker of "infomercials" who lives in the Pacific Northwest, and his close encounters with two young men. He is attracted by their strange aura, especially as one of them reminds him of a young star who died of a drug overdose. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
