A DARLING PUPPET-OR NOT? In this charming Children's Illustrated Classics reprint of Pinocchio, Geppetto's little puppet boy and all of his adventures are playfully brought to life by Charles Folkard's illustrations. But don't be fooled by the darling printed cloth binding-in Collodi's original story, Pinocchio is drowned in boiling water, spends time in prison, and has his nose pecked down to size by woodpeckers. Light sunning top edge, gentle bumps corners, owner inscription ffep verso, still near fine in very good dust jacket with moderately toned spine, several closed tears, light wear to corners and tips, several small tide marks spine, in mylar cover.
