Piracy: Poems of Resistance Under False Names

“Finally, a poetry book that hates me as much as I hate myself.” (Luna Klein, former assistant editor, now goat herder)

“It’s Pessoa meets Derrida meets the guy screaming on the tram at 7am. You’re not sure who’s right, but he does make some points.” (Attilio Krug, Chief Officer of EU Interpretive Damage Control Bureau)

There was a time when censorship banned books
Now it rewards the conformist ones, and shadow-bans the true.

PIRACY is a jailbreak in verse. A covert literary strike. Each poem belongs to an imaginary author, à la Pessoa. Not to hide, but to expose. Because today truth without disguise is a liability. Too many risks for any single voice to carry: it needs to be fractured into many.

Twelve imaginary authors. Twelve extraordinary lives. Dozens of unfiltered, politically untethered poems. No disclaimers. No institutional backing. No safe voices. They speak from the cracks, beyond etiquette and conformism. They don’t want to be safe. They’re just unwilling to lie. That’s why these poems wear masks. That’s why they need heteronyms. There must be distance from truth: seen too close it burns.

PIRACY builds a fictitious chorus to reclaim what literature has traded away: charisma, risk, seduction, dissent. And yes, violence, and rage.

You won’t agree with every poem.
That’s good.

Read it like a leak.
Read it like a ghost network.
Read it before it disappears.
