Beverly Cardozo was born in Jamaica and began her career as director of sale at the Barbizon School of Modeling in Florida in 1960, training and helping young ladies. She also owned and operated her own health care business and was the first minority woman given a federal license to service the elderly in Florida. She was given the key to the city of Fort Lauderdale by the governor and was honored as "woman of the year for who's who in business." She launched her career in selling time-shares twelve years ago to show people a better way to vacation. The Pitfalls of Time-Share is about her journey through the time-share industry and the experiences and knowledge she gained and wanted to share with consumers and also the salespeople. She hopes this book will also help the major companies that represent the product to sell and show the product with integrity and honesty. She lives in Las Vegas, where she is hard at work on her second book, and sets up seminars to help educate and solve some of the issues owners are having with their time-share.
