Legatura del tempo in cartoncino leggero con titoli a stampa su etichetta al dorso. Qualche segno d'uso, ma esemplare genuino e marginoso, in barbe. Seconda edizione di molto ampliata rispetto all'originale del 1791 (di sole 59 pagine). Le vere guide artistiche di Padova, del Settecento, sono ricche e pregevoli, come il rifacimento che ne pubblic� il libraio Brandolese (1795), aiutato dal dotto bibliotecario della Marciana, Jacopo Morelli, che gli forn� del materale manoscritto piu' antico (Schlosser, 549, 565). L'opera si compone di sei parti (chiamate Giridall'autore) descriventi i luoghi principali di Padova, sia pubblici che profani, con il corredo di ampie notazioni storico-artistiche. Cfr. Fossati Bellani (2456) e Cicognara (2474): Ottima guida divenuta ormai rara.

Galleria Gilibert antiquarian bookshop was opened in 1992 by the late Alfredo Gilibert, great bibliophile and collector throughout his life of all forms of art on paper. His son Massimo now owns and runs the bookshop and continues the family tradition of locating and providing books and prints to collectors around the world. Galleria Gilibert has been a member of L.I.L.A. since 1997. The bookshop occupies two floors in the magnificent gallery Galleria Subalpina in the heart of Turin, between two of the city's most important squares: Piazza Castello and Piazza Carlo Alberto. It is very close to the Biblioteca Reale, the famous Egyptian museum, and the Galleria Sabauda.
