4th edition, [iv] 420pp, this copy has a plate of The Adelphi Buildings as a frontispiece which doesn't appear to have any relevance to the contents and does not appear in any other copy seen, contemporary sheep (worn to edges and corners with boards showing), rebacked with gilt decoration and lettering, new endpapers, title mounted, title and frontispiece stained and slightly frayed, 1st leaf also slightly frayed, some light foxing, modern woodcut bookplate on front pastedown, 12mo (10.5x18cm).
