3 volume set, Folio. Scarce. No DJ. University of California Studies in the History of Art. Foreword by Wolfgang Braunfels, translated into English by Charles W. Jones of the Directives of Adalhard, 753-826, the Ninth Abbot of Carbie, and with a note by A. Hunter Dupress on the Significance of the Plan of St. Gall to the History of Measurement. Illustrated throughout. White cloth boards with red leather title boxes along spine. Shelfwear: light scuffing along edges and cover boards, some light smudges on cover boards, silver lettering along spines of all volumes are faded and rubbed away, red leather title box on volume I is torn and becoming detached, heavy water damage on the rear cover of volume I, some light tanning and foxing. Otherwise, volumes are tightly bound, no marks. Set is in Very Good condition. Volume I is in Fair condition.

We began as Sunset Bookstore in 1974, a small used bookshop servicing the Sunset District west of 19th Avenue, and have been in continual operation for the past 50 years. Over the years Sunset Bookstore has since closed and merged with Russian Hill Bookstore, which has grown to also become the best note card shop in the city, and a favorite place for toys and games for children of all ages.…
