Die Beitr�ge vermessen Verst�ndnisse und Funktionen von Planung, Handlungsmuster in verschiedenen Politikfeldern zwischen den 1960er und 1980er Jahren und gegenseitige Wahrnehmungen bzw. Wissenstransfers. Der Band zeigt, dass Planungskonzepte gerade im Systemwettstreit als unerl�sslich f�r die Legitimation einer zukunftsorientierten und wissenschaftsbasierten Politik erschienen. Doch d�mpften verengte Handlungsspielr�ume und erkennbare Grenzen der Expertise in den 1970er Jahren auf beiden Seiten hohe Erwartungen an Planung. Zugleich verdeutlicht die Planungsgeschichte Systemunterschiede und eine Asymmetrie in der beidseitigen Wahrnehmung.
