About the Authors
Courtney Epps is the CEO for her company, Outside the Box Business Solutions, LLC, which is a consulting and full-service accounting firm. She is a Fractional CFO for dozens of small to mid-size companies nationwide. Courtney has been in the accounting and finance industry for eighteen years. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2002. She has owned and worked in numerous companies in many industries including retail, advertising agencies, home-based businesses, network marketing companies, apparel, and fundraising; her largest company was an insurance agency in Myrtle Beach with close to three thousand, five hundred clients. She has done accounting for businesses exceeding $50 million in sales, and her largest CFO client at the time of this book’s publication is a $13 million business. Courtney’s passion is to help individuals, home-based businesses, and brick and mortar businesses become educated in saving money on taxes legally, morally, and ethically. Courtney’s specialty is finding and saving money that companies and individuals did not know existed.
Robert A. McFadden is an expert in the Side Hustle. Robert’s two decades of experience in Relationship Marketing run the full gamut, from 12 years building teams as a leader in the field, twice reaching the top Rank in 2 different companies, to consulting start-ups on shoestring budgets all the way up to established giants worth billions, adding this experience are the many corporate roles he’s held from VP and SVP of Sales & Marketing on up to President. Robert even served as the EVP of International Markets living abroad in Australia for 3 years for the then 59th largest Direct Sales company in the world. Robert holds a Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing from Utah State University and a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University.
