182pp, 120 figs (some in col), bibliog. 30x23, boards. Edges slightly spotted, boards and contents nice and bright, bookplate pasted on ffep, very good thus. The famous (and highly influential) Hook Plan - a project for a high-density New Town, with a well developed highway system, mass car ownership etc. The settlement was not built (though Cumbernauld in Scotland was similar).
