About the Author

Dr. Donald J. Treffinger is President of the Center for Creative Learning, Inc., in Sarasota, FL. He has been a leading writer, researcher, and trainer on CPS for more than three decades and is the author or coauthor of more than 350 books and articles. He has also been a teacher at the elementary, junior high, and graduate levels and an internationally known scholar and consultant.

Dr. John F. Feldhusen has recently retired from the faculty of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, where he served as the Robert B. Kane Professor of Educational Psychology and Director for the Gifted Education Resource Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He is Past President of the National Association for Gifted Children and served as editor of the Gifted Child Quarterly. John is the author or coauthor of many books and more than 250 articles in professional journals. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and is listed in Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the United States, and Who's Who in the World.
