Anatomy of root and stem are given in chapters XI and XII followed by anomalous secondary growth. Structure and development of leaf, flower, fruit and seed with molecular details are given next. Anatomy in relation to taxonomy is given in the subsequent chapters. The UGC curriculum in this paper includes aspects of Dormancy. Senescence, Abscission and Programmed cell Death in Plants. These are given at the end. Thus the book gives both conventional and modern aspects of Plant Development.
