Mindi Abair Mindi Abair is a saxophonist, singer, composer, author and radio show host. As a solo artist, she has produced 10 #1 radio singles and 5 major label solo releases for Verve and Concord Records that have topped the Contemporary Jazz Charts. She is a Berklee College of Music graduate, and an elected governor for the Los Angeles Chapter of NARAS. Mindi was featured twice on the 2011 season of "American Idol" and also appeared on the 2011 season for the Fran Drescher show “Happily Divorced”. The list of artists she has toured or recorded with are a testament to her talent.
