About the Author
Mindi Abair Mindi Abair is a saxophonist, singer, composer, author and radio show host. As a solo artist, she has produced 10 #1 radio singles and 5 major label solo releases for Verve and Concord Records that have topped the Contemporary Jazz Charts. She is a Berklee College of Music graduate, and an elected governor for the Los Angeles Chapter of NARAS. Mindi was featured twice on the 2011 season of "American Idol" and also appeared on the 2011 season for the Fran Drescher show “Happily Divorced”. The list of artists she has toured or recorded with are a testament to her talent. They include the Keb’ Mo’, Lalah Hathaway, Duran Duran, Lee Ritenour, the Backstreet Boys, Mandy Moore, Max Weinberg, Bill Champlin, David Pack, Mocean Worker, Adam Sandler, Rick Braun, Teena Marie, Bobby Lyle, Jonathan Butler, and Peter White. http://www.mindiabair.com Lance Abair Lance Abair is a music producer, entertainment coach and multi-instrumentalist. He toured the United States for five years playing saxophone and keyboards in a comedy/show band “The Fabulous Entertainers.” The next eleven years he spent as the talent coordinator and entertainment coach for Young American Showcase, a Florida-based musical touring company where, each year, young rock musicians from all over the U.S. were taught and rehearsed on all of the basic entertainment concepts. Lance later toured for three years playing saxophone and keyboards with Mark Farner from Grand Funk Railroad. He has held the positions of Senior Product Specialist for KORG, Product Manager and Artist Relations for Clavia, and Senior Trainer, Pro Products, for Bose Corporation. He is also a well- known writer, producer and video host of internationally distributed instructional videos from Mark of the Unicorn’s Performer to KORG Keyboard Workstations Ross Cooper At the age of 17, Ross Cooper joined Young American Showcase and played guitar touring across the United States performing about 200 shows per year for the next 6 years. Leaving music behind after his early years of touring, Ross now has 25 years of experience as a software developer and entrepreneur. He is the author of a software program named "The Preparation for the SAT" which has sold over one million units in the U.S.A. In the year 2000, Mr. Cooper founded the company Verimatrix, which is a recognized leader in content security and watermarking. In 2008, Mr. Cooper founded Channel Islands, a pioneer in targeted advertising systems for television.
