It is no secret that the majority of piano owners, in addition to playing classical music, would also like to play popular standards and pop songs, just like the pianist in a bar or cocktail lounge does, improvising and going from one tune to another. How nice it would be if one could sit down to the piano at home or at a party producing all those lovely melodies by ear.
Unfortunately, up until now there has not been a single useful method that teaches how to acquire this ability; one that is written in a simple manner, and starting with the basics.
This method is suitable for pianists with an existing knowledge of the instrument who are seeking to gain or improve their jazz/popular music playing and their improvisation skills.
