370 & 344 pp frontipiece to vol 1 decorations to chapter heads etc., bound in full brown calf, gilt margins to covers, 5 raised bands with gilt decorations to spines, marbled endpapers with gilt dentelle, all edges marbled. Volume one is broken in two at page 97 otherwise both in similar condition with open joints, wear & loss at spine ends, scuffed corners, loss of title labels to spine, pages show occasional foxing spots.
