Leather soft and rich in color. A few small abrasions to surface of leather with minor imperfections. Tips lightly crushed with rounding to end bands. Hinges lightly creased. Original red morocco spine label bright and intact. End papers toned and lightly soiled. Small rips to edges of leaves with modest soiling throughout. Lightly toned with scattered foxing. Free of known ownership or markings. Binding tight and intact. A sound copy! Please see photos. A lovely early American edition of Scottish poet Thomas Campbell.
