Dr. Dave Earley is Chairman of the Department of Pastoral Ministries and Church Expansion at Liberty Theological Seminary, and the Director of the Center for Church Planting of Liberty University. Dave is the founding Senior Pastor of the New Life Church of Gahanna, Ohio, a church started in his basement with 12 people. Today the church has grown to nearly 2,000 in weekly attendance and over 100 small groups.
Prior to launching New Life Church, Dave was President of Change a Nation, which developed church planting teams. He also served as Director of Discipleship for Liberty University. He has trained thousands of pastors as a national seminar presenter with Church Growth Seminars.
Dave has written eight books including Eight Habits of Effective Small Group Leaders, and Turning Members into Leaders. Dave and his wife Cathy have three highly active teenage sons, Luke, Andrew, and Daniel. They enjoy kayaking, rafting, biking, hikingand art.
