Wood-cut by the author on the upper wrapper of each volume Six volumes Fine, complete set in somewhat split and creased original slipcase which has a printed lettering label on the backstrip Each volume is made up from sheets of the First Edition issued by Duckworth, 1903-1904, provided with a newly printed wrapper, cancelled title-page and with the colophon cancelled or obscured by a pasted slip of plain paper. This issue, financed by the author himself, was not a commercial success, hence the scarcity of complete sets, especially in the slipcase.
