The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The prior owner wrote their name and date on the first end paper and the second end paper shows light foxing. The pages are otherwise clean with no tears. The title page shows 1893 as the published date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The green covers have bright gold heart designs and lettering. The covers are clean with just a hint of edgewear. This old book looks and feels great! We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
