Two volumes (complete set) in matching blue cloth with gilt stamped titles and decorations to spines, blindstamped decorations to fronts, no jackets, 24mos (3 3/4" x 5 1/2"). 375pp & 405pp. + 15-page catalogue. Endnotes in both volumes. Fair. Rubbing with surface loss along all edges, hinges and spine ends with central cloth clean save for mild occasion scuffing v.2; blindstamping sharp; spine stamping mildly dulled, all clearly legible. Binding strong and stiff, with pp.195-206 just hanging one by one binding thread; all else holding well. Pages stiff on toned, but unmarked stock. Prev. owner's name/date in nice hand mid ffep both volumes. Best suited as collectible than actual reading copy. Seller Inventory # 045587
