From the Minot Family Library, an extremely rare copy of ten of Laurence Minot's poems. Bound in threequarter tan calf and tan cloth. The leather is scuffed and worn. Raised bands to spine with gilt decoration and title label. Spine is darkened and very worn, with loss to the bottom. Title label is clean and bright. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Front and rear hinges are beginning to crack. Internally the pages are in extremely good condition. Title has the unacknowledged author of the preface, dissertations, notes and a glossary added in pencil - Joseph Ritson. The number 540 is pencilled on the following page. No other blemishes.
